LITTLE PENS PROGRAM – The Little Pens program enables kids to try hockey while providing them with head to toe hockey gear. This program is designed for first-time players only between the ages of 4 – 9. Participants must have their 4th birthday by September 1st, 2018 to be eligible to register. In addition, participants must not have their 10th birthday before December 31st 2018. If your child does not know how to skate, we highly recommend you sign up for a "Learn to Skate" class at a local rink. Most of the participating rinks have these programs.
ADM (American Development Model)- The ADM is USA Hockey’s nationwide player-development program for youth hockey associations. It’s based on age-appropriate, age-specific competition and training for boys and girls focusing on FUNdamentals. The ADM places a heightened emphasis on skill development and long-term athlete development principles, providing a blueprint for the best possible youth hockey experience. ADM utilizes station based instruction and half ice/cross ice games.
