From Pittsburgh: I-79 north to I-90 East. Take 90 east to
Exit 24 (Peach St.) or Exit 27 (State St.).
From Ohio: I-90 to Exit 24 (Peach St.)
or Exit 27 (State St.).
From New York: I-90 to Exit 24 (Peach St.)
or Exit 27 (State St.).
Erie Exit 24 (Peach St.): Turn right (north) onto Peach
Street and drive until you come to the intersection of Peach and 38th
Streets. Turn right onto 38th Street. When you get to 38th
and Cherry Streets (a couple blocks), turn right onto Cherry St. and the JMC
ice rink entrance is directly on the left. *These directions can be used if
you are staying at any hotels on or off of upper Peach Street.
Erie Exit 27 (State St.): Turn right (north) at the end of the off ramp.
Continue straight ahead for approximately 3 miles. When you reach the
intersection of Glenwood Park Ave. and 38th Streets, turn left onto
38th Street. At the next intersection, take a left. This will lead
you into the JMC parking lot. *Please note that Route 97 is also known as Glenwood Park Avenue and
that Glenwood Park Ave. turns into State Street as you enter the city limits.
They are all the same road so don’t get confused by the different names.
From the Avalon Hotel, 10 West 10th St (10th and State St.): Proceed South on State Street (right off 10th St.).
Proceed south on State St. until you come to the intersection of State and 38tth
Streets. Turn right onto 38th Street and follow that past the
ERIE ZOO until you come to the intersection of 38th and Cherry St.
JMC Ice Arena is on your left adjacent to the ZOO.
From the Bel Aire Hotel, 2800 West 8th Street: Proceed east on 8th Street (make a left out of hotel
parking lot). Proceed to the intersection of 8th and Pittsburgh
Avenue (Pizza Hut is on the corner); turn right (south) onto Pittsburgh
Avenue. Stay on Pittsburgh Ave. until you
come to the intersection of Pittsburgh Avenue and 38th Streets. Turn
left onto 38th Street and follow this until you come to the
intersection of 38th and Cherry Streets. Turn right onto Cherry
Street. The JMC Ice Arena is immediately on your left.

Exit 29 (Parade St.):
Go North on Rt-8 (Pine Ave.) At
Dairy Queen go North (right) on Burton Ave. to East 38th St. go East (right) on
East 38th to McClelland Ave. North (left) on McClelland (cross railroad tracks)
to Igloo Ice Arena. Arena is on the right side of the road.

Exit 27 (State St.): Take Rt. 97 North for one mile to Jct. 505. Veer right and
continue on Rt. 97 North (Old French Road) to East 38th Street. Turn right,
four blocks to Mercyhurst College. Enter the college entrance and follow the
signs to the ice rink.

Exit 24 (Peach St.): Turn right (north) onto Peach
Street and drive on this road all the way into the city. When you reach the
intersection of Peach and 8th Streets, turn right onto 8th
Street. Drive two blocks and turn right onto French Street. The Civic Center
parking entrance will be on the left after you turn. *These directions can be
used if you are staying at any hotels on or off of upper Peach Street.
Exit 29 (Parade St.): Turn right onto Rt.8 (Route 8 turns into Pine Street and
eventually into Parade Street). Follow the road through sections of the city to
East 9th Street, turn left, travel 2 blocks and the Civic center is on 9th
between Holland and French Street. *Alternate Route: I-79 North to 12th
St., Exit 183 (old exit 44) (Rt. 5) East. Take 12th St. east approximately 2.2
miles to State St. (Light). Turn left onto State St. (North). Go 3 blocks to
9th St. (Light) and turn right (East). Go 1-1/2 blocks to Civic Center. Parking
Ramp is on the left.
From the Avalon Hotel, 10
West 10th St (you are very close to the Civic Center): Turn right out of the
hotel-parking ramp on 9th Street. At the next light, turn left onto
State Street. Go one block down State St. and take a right onto 8th
Street. Drive
one block and turn right onto French Street. The Civic Center parking entrance
will be on the left after you turn.
From the Bell Air Hotel, 2800
West 8th Street: Proceed east on 8th Street. Drive on 8th Street
until you reach the intersection of 8th and French Streets. Turn
right onto French Street. The Civic Center parking entrance will be on the left after you turn.
*Entrance for Hockey
players is in the back of the Civic center, located on 9th and Holland (along
baseball stadium outfield wall)
