SPRING HOCKEY 2008Spring Hockey 2008 The Erie Youth Hockey Spring League is designed as an extension of the hockey season for those who wish to continue competitive play on teams of blended talent. The emphasis is the same as in the House League: participation, fair play, sportsmanship and FUN. All rules that apply to House League will apply to Spring League with the following exceptions:
-- The season will consist of only one (1) practice which will occur before the start of games, and a series of games (approximately 12)*
-- New skaters and cubs will receive 10 hours of ice time*
-- All players will receive equal amount of playing time per House League rules
-- Games may not start with fewer than six (6) players. To field sufficient players for a game, teams may borrow players from other teams in the same division with the approval of both Coaches
-- There will be no play-offs and no standings will be kept in the Spring league
Coaches are encouraged to rotate players to different positions throughout the Spring season
Equipment may be rented to first year players and goalie equipment will be available to each team

The Spring Hockey 2008 season will be starting this year in April. Registrations are due by March 1, 2008. Please register on time.
