Travel Program

The Travel Program is designed to teach skills to players who have a sense of accomplishment that accompanies athletics at a competitive level. Players learn about competition, team work, sportsmanship and themselves in a way that cannot be experienced in a recreational program. The players thrive on winning and a competitive experience. Parents genuinely enjoy the camaraderie and social experience that goes along with being part of a travel "extended family".

Games are played with teams from Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League (PAHL) or Western New York Amateur Hockey League (WNY), which requires weekend travel.

Mites 14 players 55 hours ice  Fees set by board
Squirts 14 players 55 hours ice  Fees set by board

Regular season play usually begins in October and runs through February with Playoffs often ending at the beginning of March. Travel teams are formed at the Mite level to the Midget level. EYHA teams at the PW Major, Bantam Major and U-16 Midget levels participate in the PA State/Midam district/USA Hockey national tournaments at the end of their seasons at the Tier II level.
